Senate Human Resources Office

Legislative Role

The Human Resources Office provides services to Senate members and staff with regard to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, organizational development, performance management, coaching policy development, employee relations, leadership and benefits.

Functions and Services

The Human Resources Office performs the following duties:

  • Assists the Rules and Administration Personnel Subcommittee in regard to employment and compensation issues including policy development.
  • Administers Senate Performance Appraisal System.
  • Compiles and posts job opportunities.
  • Develops employee orientation and training programs.
