Senator Paul J. Utke called the meeting to order at 1:05 PM

S.F. 3202: Senator Dornink: Podiatrist licensure requirement modification.

- Dr. Bill Buege, retired, Albert Lea Healthcare Coalition 

Senator Utke moved that S.F. 3202, be recommended to pass.

S.F. 3501: Senator Draheim: Physicians assistants provisions modifications.

- Natsha Chernyavsky, Legislative and Policy Specialist, Citizens' Council for Health Freedom 

- Leslie Clayton, State Government Affairs for the Minnesota Academy of Physicians Assistants 

 

Senator Draheim moves the A-1 authors ammendment, passes on voice vote. 

Senator Draheim moved that S.F. 3501, as amended, be recommended to pass.

S.F. 3256: Senator Draheim: Dental therapy, specialty and guest dentist licensures requirements modifications.

- Bridgett Anderson, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Dentistry 

Senator Draheim moved that S.F. 3256, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee.

S.F. 1257: Senator Benson: Background studies requirement exemption for licensed persons; additional authorized fingerprint collection vendors establishment; authorized on-site fingerprint collection vendor requirement; appropriating money.
