Senator Roger C. Chamberlain called the meeting to order at 3:04

S.F. 380: Senator Draheim: School board publication of consulting fees information.

Sen Draheim presented SF 380

Testifier: Tina Burkholder, MSBA officials

 


Be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 438: Senator Chamberlain: Commissioner of education academic standards review cycle suspension and reporting requirement.

Senator Chamberlain gave the gavel to Senator Eichorn.

Senator Chamberlain moved SF 438 A-1 DE amendment. Passed on a voice vote.  He then presented the SF 438 as amended.

Following discussion, Senator Chamberlain moved that SF 438, as amended, be sent to Senate Finance. Passed on a voice vote.


As amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee.

S.F. 2: Senator Nelson: Peacetime emergency authority elimination of governor\'s authority to use peacetime emergency restrictions on schools authorization.

Senator Chamberlain welcomed Senator Nelson to the committee. She presented SF 2 to the committee.

Senator Clausen moved the A1 522. Passed on a voice vote. Senator Clausen presented SF522 as amended.
