Senator Mary Kiffmeyer called the meeting to order at 1:05 pm.

S.F. 1039: Senator Goggin: Renewable development account public utility annual contribution modification; Prairie Island net zero project establishment and grant appropriation; business compensation process for loss of business opportunity resulting from the sale and closure of a biomass energy plant establishment; appropriating money.



Senator Jasinski moved that S.F. 1039, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 182: Senator Lang: Biomass business compensation authorization.



Senator Koran moved that S.F. 182, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2112: Senator Pratt: Racing commission pari-mutuel horse racing licensing, reporting and other regulatory provisions modifications.



Senator Howe moved that S.F. 2112, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 802: Senator Limmer: Legislative commission on data practices and personal data privacy expiration date extension and appropriation.



Senator Newman moved that S.F. 802, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 958: Senator Mathews: Child welfare workforce stability, Minn-Link, and caseload studies; child welfare training system modification requirement; reporting, rulemaking, and appropriation.



Senator Koran moved that S.F. 958, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1590: Senator Rarick: Waste tire facilities financial qualifications and assurance requirement.



Senator Westrom moved that S.F. 1590, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.
