Senator Mary Kiffmeyer called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm.

S.F. 582: Senator Rest: Redistricting advisory commission appointment authorization; districting principles establishment; Legislative Coordinating Commission redistricting duties establishment.

Senator Rest offered the A-4 amendment.

Senator Rest moved that the A-4 amendment be adopted.

On a voice vote, the A-4 amendment was adopted.


Senator Kiffmeyer moved that S.F. 582, be laid on the table. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2255: Senator Kiffmeyer: Constitutional amendment establishing a redistricting commission and principles.

Senator Kiffmeyer offered the A-3 amendment.

Senator Kiffmeyer moved that the A-3 amendment be adopted.

On a voice vote, the A-3 amendment was adopted.


Senator Kiffmeyer moved that S.F. 2255, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Rules and Administration Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2029: Senator Weber: County audits by state auditor law application clarification.



Senator Howe moved that S.F. 2029, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Local Government Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 47: Senator Osmek: Metropolitan council gubernatorial appointees local approval requirement.

Senator Osmek offered the A-1 amendment.

Senator Koran moved that the A-1 amendment be adopted.

On a voice vote, the A-1 amendment was adopted.

Senator Koran moved that S.F. 1875, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2192: Senator Weber: Industrial hemp expedited rulemaking authorization.

Senator Weber offered the A-1 amendment.

Senator Howe moved that the A-1 amendment be adopted.

On a voice vote, the A-1 amendment was adopted.


Senator Howe moved that S.F. 2192, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Agriculture, Rural Development, and Housing Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
