Present: Senator Rich Draheim - Vice Chair, Senator Jim Abeler, Senator Paul T. Anderson, Senator Gregory D. Clausen, Senator Richard Cohen, Senator Michelle L. Fischbach, Senator Jason Isaacson, Senator Scott M. Jensen, Senator Jerry Newton

Senator Michelle L. Fischbach called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM.

S.F. 924: Senator Housley: Winona State University HealthForce Minnesota grant appropriation to develop educational materials to increase awareness of senior care opportunities.



Senator Fischbach moved that S.F. 924, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 1559: Senator Draheim: Public postsecondary educational systems consulting work report requirement.



Senator Fischbach moved that S.F. 1559, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 1661: Senator Abeler: Developmental education reform plan proposal by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) board of trustees requirement.



Senator Isaacson moved that S.F. 1661, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 1242: Senator Anderson: Public postsecondary education concurrent enrollment provisions modifications; MnSCU (Minnesota State Colleges and Universities) board of trustees supplemental instruction program establishment requirement.



Senator Fischbach moved that S.F. 1242, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 609: Senator Dahms: Southwest Minnesota state university special education teacher education program additional school employee participation authorization.



Senator Newton moved that S.F. 609, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the E-12 Finance Committee.
