Senator Tony Lourey called the meeting to order at 8:39 a.m. Senator Goodwin presented S.F. 141. Senator Benson moved adoption of the A-4 Amendment. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Benson moved an oral amendment to the A-4 Amendment: On line 4.12 after the period insert “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.14 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.16 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.17 insert, $309,000 in the blank. On line 4.18 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Benson moved the A-5 Amendment. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Eken moved an oral amendment: On Page 2, line 32, delete “and”. On Page 2, line 33, delete the period and insert “; and”. On Page 2, after line 32, insert: “(6) a completed Minnesota Department of Health preventing workplace violence in health care gap analysis, and its preparedness and incident response action plan. If a facility receives grant funding under this section, the facility must implement its preparedness and incident response plan in order to assure a safe environment for parties.” AMENDMENT WITHDRAWN. Senator Eken moved S.F. 141 as amended be recommended to pass for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Dziedzic presented S.F. 307. Senator Sheran moved adoption of the A-2 Amendment. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Rosen moved S.F. 307 as amended be recommended to pass for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 141: Senator Goodwin: Comprehensive behavioral health diversion centers establishment and appropriation; persons with mental illness or co-occurring disorders under arrest or subject to arrest or in need of crisis services diverted from incarceration to comprehensive behavioral health diversion centers authorization.



Senator Eken moved that S.F. 141, as amended, recommended to pass and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 142: Senator Goodwin: Beltrami county comprehensive mental health services grant appropriation.



Senator Rosen moved that S.F. 142, as amended, recommended to pass and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 39: Senator Hoffman: Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act.



Senator Brown moved that S.F. 39, be recommended to pass for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1295: Senator Hoffman: Assisted living facilities assistive technology grants appropriation.



Senator Hayden moved that S.F. 1295, be laid on the table. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 307: Senator Dziedzic: Prehospital care data collection and reporting responsibilities modifications.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 307, as amended, recommended to pass and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.
