Senator Tony Lourey called the meeting to order at 8:39 a.m. Senator Goodwin presented S.F. 141. Senator Benson moved adoption of the A-4 Amendment. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Benson moved an oral amendment to the A-4 Amendment: On line 4.12 after the period insert “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.14 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.16 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” On line 4.17 insert, $309,000 in the blank. On line 4.18 after the period insert, “This is a onetime appropriation.” AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Benson moved the A-5 Amendment. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Eken moved an oral amendment: On Page 2, line 32, delete “and”. On Page 2, line 33, delete the period and insert “; and”. On Page 2, after line 32, insert: “(6) a completed Minnesota Department of Health preventing workplace violence in health care gap analysis, and its preparedness and incident response action plan. If a facility receives grant funding under this section, the facility must implement its preparedness and incident response plan in order to assure a safe environment for parties.” AMENDMENT WITHDRAWN.
