Senator Matt Schmit called the meeting to order at

S.F. 982: Senator Eken: Providing for earlier openings for deer hunting and angling seasons.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 982, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1348: Senator Ingebrigtsen: Allowing certain vehicle use by hunters in state forests in August.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 1348, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1549: Senator Schmit: Southeastern Minnesota additional deer licenses issuance to landowners with deer damage pilot program.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 1549, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 774: Senator Johnson: Killing of dog pursuing big game limitation to peace or conservation officers.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 774, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 591: Senator Wiger: Prohibiting trapping without written permission on private land that is not posted.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 591, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 592: Senator Wiger: Prohibiting trapping and baiting wolves; prohibiting use of snares to take wild animals; providing criminal penalties.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 592, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1070: Senator Wiger: Restricting use of body-gripping traps near public roads and trails.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 1070, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1325: Senator Hoffman: Modifying requirements for certain traps; requiring certain permission for traps and snares set; requiring reporting; requiring license forfeiture for certain violations; providing criminal penalties.



Senator Schmit moved that S.F. 1325, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.
