The Minnesota Senate provides an education program designed to provide the opportunity for secondary education students to learn the legislative process. Participating Minnesota colleges and universities grant college credit to a student interning for a Senator. An internship typically lasts the duration of the legislative session, although internships vary in length because of differing college requirements and the differing needs of individual Senators.
The 2021 Senate internship program will be conducted remotely. The deadline for the 2021 internship application is November 5, 2020.
This letter is sent to colleges and universities announcing the opening of the internship program for upcoming legislative session.
