2.8 (4) is under the age of 65; and
2.9 (5) is not otherwise eligible for medical assistance or other creditable coverage as
2.10defined under United States Code, title 42, section 1396a(aa).
2.11 (b) Medical assistance provided under this subdivision shall be limited to services
2.12provided during the period that the individual receives treatment for colorectal cancer.
2.13 (c) An individual meeting the criteria in paragraph (a) is eligible for medical
2.14assistance without meeting the eligibility criteria relating to income and assets in section
2.15256B.056, subdivisions 1a to 5b."

3.17Health Care Homes. The commissioner of
3.18health shall coordinate with the commissioner
3.19of human services to maximize federal
3.20financial participation for this activity.
3.21 Sec. 14
APPROPRIATIONS.
3.22(a) $250,000 each year is appropriated for fiscal years 2010 and 2011 from the
3.23statewide health improvement program fund to the commissioner of health for the heart
3.24disease and stroke prevention unit of the Department of Health to fund data collection and
3.25other activities to improve cardiovascular health and reduce the burden of heart disease
3.26and stroke in Minnesota.
3.27(b) $2,000,000 each year is appropriated for fiscal years 2010 and 2011, from
3.28the statewide health improvement program fund to the commissioner of health for
3.29the Minnesota colorectal cancer prevention program under Minnesota Statutes, section
3.30144.941.
3.31(c) $750,000 each year is appropriated for fiscal years 2010 and 2011 from the
3.32statewide health improvement program fund to the commissioner of health for the
3.33women's heart health program, established in Minnesota Statutes, section 144.942.
3.34(d) $47,985,000 is appropriated for the biennium beginning July 1, 2011, from
3.35the statewide health improvement program fund to the commissioner of health for the
3.36statewide health improvement program under Minnesota Statutes, section 145.986.
4.1(e) During each fiscal year, the commissioner of finance shall estimate the amounts
4.2credited and to be credited to the statewide health improvement program fund by June
4.330 of that fiscal year. Any amount not needed to fund the appropriations in paragraphs
4.4(a) to (d) is appropriated to the commissioner of finance for transfer to the health care
4.5access fund by June 30 of that fiscal year."
