Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 1:25 pm.

S.F. 2568: Senator Champion: St. Anthony Falls area geophysical study appropriation.

Senator Champion presented SF 2568.

 

Testimony was heard from Colleen O’Connor Toberman, Friends of the Mississippi River; Eric Waage, Hennepin County; Carrie Jennings, Freshwater.

 

Chair Murphy moved SF2568 be recommended to pass and re-referred to Finance. 

Motion prevailed.

S.F. 1433: Senator Hawj: City of St. Paul authorization to use a design-build process for a skate park project.

Senator Hawj presented SF 1433.

S.F. 2431: Senator Maye Quade: Council on LGBTQIA Minnesotans establishment.

Senator Mitchell presented SF 2431.

 

Testimony was heard from Karlton Laster, Outfront MN.

 

Senator Drazkowski moved to orally amend SF2431 as follows: on page 1, line 15 after "caucus" remove period and include "legislature shall not recieve per diem."

S.F. 820: Senator Kunesh: Indigenous Peoples\' Day school observance required, and Indigenous Peoples\' Day established as state holiday and Christopher Columbus Day eliminated as state holiday.

S.F. 1772: Senator Dahms: Automobile self-insurance provisions modifications.
