Present: Senator Erin P. Murphy - Chair, Senator Ann H. Rest Vice Chair, Senator Bobby Joe Champion, Senator Kari Dziedzic, Senator Justin D. Eichorn, Senator Nick A. Frentz, Senator Mark T. Johnson, Senator Warren Limmer, Senator John Marty, Senator Jeremy R. Miller

Senator Kari Dziedzic called the meeting to order at 11:37 am

S.F. 1: Senator McEwen: Fundamental right to reproductive health establishment.

Rule 21 – Committee Referral objection for SF 1 made by Senator Abeler.

Senator Abeler presented his objection.

Senator Wiklund testified against the Rule 21 objection.

Lead Johnson offered an oral amendment. Lead Johnson moved to amend the committee report. After “do pass” add “and be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services”.

Senator Limmer requested a roll call. A roll call was granted.

On a vote of 4 AYE, and 6 NO, THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Senator Murphy moved to adopt the committee on Judiciary and Public Safety’s committee report for Senate File 1.

Lead Johnson requested a roll call. A roll call was granted.

Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 1, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.
