Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 12:35pm

Testimony Requests Requests to testify must be submitted by the document deadline. The number of testifiers and length of time permitted is at the discretion of the chair and is subject to change. S.F. 4064: Senator Westlin: Various court notice and restitution, conciliation court, juror data, and no-fault arbitration provisions modifications and Supreme Court Council on Child Protection expiration date modification provision.

The following individuals testified on S.F.4064: Jeff Shorba, State Court Administrator; Chief Judge Michael Fritz, 7th Judicial District; Sarah Strong, MN Newspaper Association, Lindsay Carpenter, Attorney at Meshbesher & Spence Senator Westlin moves adoption of the A1 amendment -- adopted by voice. Senator Seeberger moves adoption of the A2 amendment -- failed by voice. 2:11 - Chair Latz passes the gavel to Senator Oumou Verbeten.

S.F. 4067: Senator Latz: Chief justice security provision, base funding redistributing beginning in fiscal year 2028 provision, and judicial branch appropriation.

The following individuals testified on S.F.3804: Lane Thor, Principal, Real Property Tax; Thomas Wilhelmy, Partner, Property Tax Group Leader, Ryan Law; Rebecca Holschuh, Senior Assistant Hennepin County Attorney; Patrick Chapman, Ramsey County Assessor

Senator Pappas moved that S.F. 3804, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 3596: Senator Port: Onetime emergency rental assistance aid for counties and Tribal governments establishment and appropriation.

Senator Westrom requested a roll call vote for the adoption of the motion to lay SF 3596 on the table. 4/6 (Ayes: Limmer, Holmstrom, Kreun, Westrom; Nays: Latz, Oumou Verbeten, Clark, Pappas, Seeberger, Westlin) MOTION FAILED Senator Latz passes the gavel to Senator Oumou Verbeten at 3:18pm Senator Latz moves adoption of the A24 amendment -- adopted by voice vote 3:22 - Senator Oumou Verbeten passes the gavel back to Senator Latz.

Senator Clark moved that S.F. 3596, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
