Senator Ann H. Rest called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.

Call to Order

A quorum is present

Adoption of the minutes from 1/28/25

The minutes from January 28, 2025, were approved as presented.

S.F. 128: Senator Farnsworth: City aid formula sparsity factor establishment and appropriation.

Senator Klein moved the A-2 amendment, the motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. Testifier: Pete Hyduke – Mayor, City of Hibbing

Senator Klein moved that S.F. 128, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 199: Senator Klein: Homestead redevelopment area credit establishment and appropriation.



Senator Rest moved that S.F. 199, be laid over.

S.F. 308: Senator Drazkowski: Homestead property confessions of judgements interest rates charged modification.

Testifiers: Scott Arneson – County Administrator, Goodhue County Lucas Dahling – Finance Director, Goodhue County

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 308, be laid over.

S.F. 309: Senator Drazkowski: Property tax refund filing day extended by one year provision.



Senator Rest moved that S.F. 309, be laid over.

S.F. 363: Senator Hauschild: Property tax exemption establishment for certain property owned by an Indian Tribe.

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 363, be laid over.

S.F. 51: Senator Rest: Property tax abatement permission for land bank property.

Senator Klein moved that S.F. 51, be laid over.
