Senator Bill Weber called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m.

Adoption of the minutes from 1/21/25

The minutes from January 21, 2025, were approved as presented

S.F. 268: Senator Nelson: Additional purchases made by public and private health plans exemption.

Senator Nelson offered the A-1 Amendment. The motion carried, and the amendment was adopted. Testifiers: Ben Rachel, CEO, Corner Home Medical Bill Amberg, Amberg Law Office

Senator Weber moved that S.F. 268, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 88: Senator Klein: Individual income, corporate franchise, and sales and use tax assessments limitations provision.

Senator Klein moved the A-1 Amendment. The motion carried and the amendment was adopted. Senator Klein moved to reconsider the A-1 amendment. The motion carried. Senator Klein moved to amend the A-1 amendment. The motion carried and the amendment was adopted. Senator Weber moved that S.F. 88, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 33: Senator Rest: Requirements modification for class 4d(1) low-income rental housing.

Senator Weber moved that S.F. 33, be laid over.

S.F. 6: Senator Rest: Resident trust definition modification.

Senator Weber moved that S.F. 6, be laid over.

S.F. 245: Senator Weber: Qualified relatives expansion for special agricultural homestead.

Testifiers: Stu Lourey – Public Policy Director, Minnesota Farmers Union Hunter Pederson – Public Policy Specialist, Minnesota Farmers Bureau

Senator Drazkowski moved that S.F. 245, be laid over.
