Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 12:33 PM

S.F. 3994: Senator Champion: Minnesota Voting Rights Act establishment, prohibiting certain actions, establishing civil cause of action for violations.

Senator Seeberger appeared via zoom. The following individuals testified on S.F.3994: Steve Simon, Secretary of State via zoom; Justin Erickson, Office of the Secretary of State via zoom; Bibi Black, via zoom; Matthew Hilgart, Association of Minnesota Counties; Michael Pernick, Legal Defense Fund; Nicole Freeman, Office of the Secretary of State; A-5, with the changes in the A-7 included Senator Carlson moved, adopted by voice.

Senator Carlson moved that S.F. 3994, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 4342: Senator Housley: Grant funding appropriation to train and make therapy dogs available to law enforcement officers who are suffering from job-related trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.
