Approval of the minutes from 4/23/26

The minutes from April 23, 2026, were approved as presented.

Confirmation of Chief Tax Court Judge Jane N. Bowman

Senator Dibble moves the appointment of Jane N. Bowman be recommended to be confirmed and sent to the full senate. The motion prevailed.

Confirmation of Tax Court Judge Bradford S. Delapena

Senator Hauschild moves the appointment of Bradford S. Delapena be recommended to be confirmed and sent to the full senate. The motion prevailed.

Confirmation of Tax Court Judge Beverly J. Luther Quast

Senator Hauschild moved the appointment of Beverly J. Luther Quast be recommended to be confirmed and sent to the full senate. The motion prevailed.

S.F. 5188: Senator Hoffman: City of Champlin local sales tax imposition authorization.

Testifiers: Ryan Sabas – Mayor, City of Champlin Jenny Max – City Administrator, City of Champlin

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 5188, be laid over.

S.F. 2657: Senator Pappas: City of St. Paul local sales tax extension provision.

Senator Hauschild moved the A-5 amendment. The motion prevailed, and the amendment was adopted. Testifier: Kaohly Her – Mayor, City of St. Paul

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 2657, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 5229: Senator Pappas: St. Paul local sales tax use modification.
