Senator Ann H. Rest called the meeting to order at 8:46 a.m.

Approval of the minutes from 4/15/26

The minutes from April 15, 2026, were approved as presented.

S.F. 4872: Senator Champion: Minneapolis local sales tax use of revenue modification.

Senator Hauschild moved the A-3 amendment. The motion prevailed, and the amendment was adopted. Testifiers: Michael Rainville – Ward 3 Council Member, City of Minneapolis Angie Skildum – Director of Development Finance, City of Minneapolis

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 4872, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 3709: Senator Pha: Osseo authorization to impose a local sales and use tax.

Senator Hauschild moved the A-3 amendment. The motion prevailed, and the amendment was adopted. Testifiers: Duane Poppe – Mayor, City of Osseo Shane Mikkelson – City Administrator/Police Chief, City of Osseo Kenny Nelson – Citizen

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 3709, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 4606: Senator Mathews: Sherburne County authorization to impose a local sales and use tax.
