Senator Lindsey Port called the meeting to order at 12:35 pm; Senator Boldon took the gavel at 1:43 pm

Call to Order


S.F. 1610: Senator Oumou Verbeten: Community-based firs-generation homebuyers assistance program modification.

Senator Port moved that S.F. 1610, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1533: Senator Mohamed: Homeownership education, counseling, and training program appropriation.

The following individuals testified on S.F.1533: Noah Hobbs, One Roof Community Housing Roxanne Young Kimball, Minnesota Homeownership Center Amber Leger, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Jeff Wills, Model Cities of St. Paul Inc.

Senator Port moved that S.F. 1533, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1913: Senator Boldon: Locally controlled housing fund establishment.

Senator Port moved that S.F. 1913, as amended, laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1711: Senator Putnam: Workforce homeownership program appropriation.

Senator Boldon moved that S.F. 1711, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1906: Senator Nelson: Exceptions permission to income limits of the Minnesota housing tax credit contribution account grant and loan program for certain workforce housing projects.

Senator Abeler moved an oral amendment to the SF 1906.
