Senator Ann H. Rest called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

Adoption of the minutes from 2/20/25.

The minutes from February 20, 2025, were approved as presented

S.F. 769: Senator Hauschild: Certain data centers tax exemption modification.

Senator Hauschild offered the A-2 amendment. The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted Testifiers: Barbara Comstock – Advisor, NetChoice Bartlett Cleland – General Counsel, NetChoice Andrew Campeau – MN Pipe Trades Association Joel Johnson – International Brotherhood of Electric Workers Gavin Hanson – Fiscal and Economic Policy Director, Minnesota Business Partnership Zach Martin – Government Affairs Manager, ALLETE/MN Power Tanner Fritsinger – Political Affairs Coordinator, MAPE Avonna Stark – State Director, Clean Water Action Catherine Kauffman – ISAIAH Patty O’Keefe – Midwest Regional Director, Vote Solar Aurora Vautrin – Legislative Director, 100% Peter Wagenius – Legislative Director, Sierra Club Cathy Johnson – Chair, Coalition for Responsible Data Center Development JT Haines – Northeast Minnesota Program Director, MN Center For Environmental Advocacy Kate Lynn Snyder – Education Minnesota Sarah Moordian – Government Relations and Public Policy Director, CURE Eric Bernstein – Coalition Director, We Make Minnesota Mitch Ditlefson – Citizen Senator Dibble offered the A-4 amendment. The amendment was withdrawn.


Senator Rest moved that S.F. 769, be laid over.
