Senator Liz Boldon called the meeting to order at 12:35pm.

Call to Order


S.F. 1370: Senator Port: Eligible uses expansion for housing infrastructure bonds.

Senator Port moved the A11 amendment be amended onto the A3 amendment, motion prevailed, amendment adopted Senator Port moved the A3 amendment as amended, motion prevailed, amendment adopted Senator Port provided an overview of the bill Testifiers Peter Coyle, Housing First Minnesota Sharon Hanson, City of Marshall, City Administrator Evan Roberts, Neighbors for More Neighbors Ania McDonnell, Metro Cities Amol Dixit, Solhem Companies Jill Hutmacher, City of Eagan, Director of Community Development Jeff Archer, Matrix Development Margaret Kaplan, Housing Justice Center Elizabeth Wefel, Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities Ellie Skelton, Touchstone Mental Health Paul Eger, Minnesota Realtors Association Discussion Senator Lucero moved the A4 amendment, motion prevailed, amendment adopted Senator Lucero moved the A12 amendment, motion withdrawn Senator Draheim moved the A5 amendment, motion withdrawn Senator Draheim moved the A6 amendment, motion withdrawn Senator Draheim moved the A8 amendment, motion prevailed, amendment adopted Senator Draheim moved the oral amendment to SF1370 as amended: Page 6, line 24, delete “and” Page 6, line 25, delete the period and insert “; and” Page 6, after line 25, insert “(11) twin homes.”

Senator Port moved that S.F. 1370, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the State and Local Government and Veterans Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
