Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 12:59.

S.F. 2: Senator Mann: Paid family, pregnancy, bonding, and applicant\'s serious medical condition benefits establishment and appropriation.

Senator Drazkowski moved the A20 amendment to SF 2. 

 

Senator Bahr moved to make an oral amendement to A20 on page 1, line 4, after "remove" insert "intentional."

 

Motion to amend the A20 prevails with a unanimous voice vote. 

 

Motion to adopt the A20 amendment as amended prevails with a voice vote.

 

Senator Bahr moved to adopt A19 amendment to SF 2. 

 

Chair Murphy called a recess at 2:45 pm. 

 

Chair Murphy resumed hearing at 5:37pm.

 

Senator Bahr withdrew motion to adopt A19 to SF 2. 

 

Senator Bahr offered oral amendment to SF 2: on line 11.7 delete everything after second occurence of "grandchild," and delete lines 11.8-11.12 and on 11.13 delete everything before the period.

 

Motion failed with a divided voice vote. 

 

Senator Lang moved the A18 amendement. 

 

Motion failed with divided voice vote. 

 

Senator Drazkowski moved to amend A20 with A23 amendment. 

 

Senator Drazkowski withdraws motion to adopt A23 amendment. 

 

Lead Anderson moved SF 2 be re-refered as amended to Education Finance committee and requested roll call vote.

Senator Pappas introduces SF0034, Chair Murphy moves to adopt A19 amendment. 

 

Motion prevails with divided voice vote. 

 

Testimony was heard from Josiah Moore, Department of Labor and Industry.

 

Senator Drazkowski moves to adopt A16 amendment. 

 

Senator Drazkowksi withdraws A16 amendment. 

 

Senator Drazkowski moves to orally amend SF0034 to delete lines 1.16-1.18; on 1.19 delete the "c" in the parentheses and replace with a "b." Delete lines1.22-1.29, on line 1.30 delete "f" and replace with a "c," delete lines 2.3-2.5, on 2.6 replace "h" with a "c."

 

Senator Drazkowski withdraws oral amendment. 

 

Senator Koran moves to adopt the A18 amendment and requests roll call. 

 

Motion fails with a roll call vote.
