Present: Senator Julie A. Rosen - Chair, Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen - Vice Chair, Senator Michelle R. Benson, Senator Bobby Joe Champion, Senator Mark Johnson, Senator Susan Kent, Senator Mary Kiffmeyer, Senator Melisa López Franzen, Senator John Marty, Senator Eric R. Pratt

Absent: No Members Absent

Senator Julie A. Rosen called the meeting to order at 6:10 P.M. on April 25, 2022 in Room 1200 of the Minnesota Senate Building. A quorum was present.

S.F. 4091: Senator Pratt: Omnibus jobs, energy, higher education and commerce policy and supplemental appropriations.

Senator Pratt moved the A44 Amendment. Discussion. 

Senator Pratt renewed motion to adopt the A44 Amendment. On a voice vote, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE A44 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED. 

Senator Kiffmeyer moved the A38 Amendment. 

Senator Lopez Franzen moved the A42 Amendment to the A38 Amendment. A roll call vote was requested. The results were as follows: 

AYES: Marty, Champion, Kent, Lopez Franzen

NAYS: Rosen, Ingebrightsen, Benson, Johnson, Kiffmeyer, Pratt

On a vote of 4 AYES and 6 NAYS, the motion did not prevail and the A42 Amendment to the Amendment was not incorporated. 

Senator Kiffmeyer requested a roll call vote on the motion to adopt the A38 Amendment. The results were as follows: 

AYES: Rosen, Ingebrightsen, Benson, Johnson, Kiffmeyer, Pratt 

NAYS: Marty, Champion, Kent, Lopez Franzen

On a vote of 6 AYES and 4 NAYS, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE A38 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED. 

 

Senator Pratt moved that S.F. 4091, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:58 P.M.
