Senator Roger C. Chamberlain called the meeting to order at 3:00

S.F. 966: Senator Fateh: School district policy regarding student absence for religious holiday modifications.

S.F. 1048: Senator Torres Ray: Dismissals of students in kindergarten through grade 3 prohibition.

Senator Torres Ray presented SF 1048. Senator Torres Ray moved the A-2 amendment. It passed on a voice vote. Anne Marie Lewis, Senate Counsel, explained the scs1048A-2 amendment.
