Senator Jerry Relph called the meeting to order at 8:35

S.F. 537: Senator Nelson: Minnesota Initiative Foundations sustainable child care in rural Minnesota appropriation.



Senator Relph moved that S.F. 537, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 538: Senator Relph: Greater Minnesota child care facility capital grant program bond issue and appropriation.



Senator Relph moved that S.F. 538, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Capital Investment Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 979: Senator Kiffmeyer: Child care training timelines extension and clarification.



Senator Abeler moved that S.F. 979, as amended, be recommended to pass.

S.F. 886: Senator Weber: Child care provider licensing requirement interpretation dispute department of human services clarification consultation requirement.



Senator Koran moved that S.F. 886, as discussed, amended and may become part of the omnibus bill.

S.F. 4: Senator Relph: Human services provider enrollment medical assistance (MA) modification; counted income clarification; surety bond requirements; programs documentation, and commissioner of human services authority modifications; visit verification system; universal identification number; fraud prevention investigations appropriation.



Senator Relph moved that S.F. 4, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee.
