Absent: Senator Nick A. Frentz, Senator Susan Kent, Senator David J. Osmek

Senator Scott J. Newman called the meeting to order at 10:33 AM. A quorom was present at 10:41 AM. Senator Kent and Senator Osmek were excused.

S.F. 1524: Senator Anderson: Requiring the commissioner of transportation to develop a policy for evaluating, ranking, and selecting projects; requiring a report to the legislature.



Be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 187: Senator Ruud: Manufactured homes certificates of title transfers regulation.



Senator Westrom moved that S.F. 187, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1060: Senator Newman: Commercial motor vehicles, highway-rail grade crossing signs, department of transportation contract preference requirements and transportation plan due dates provisions modifications.



Senator Newman moved that S.F. 1060, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1059: Senator Newman: Unused or divided lands owned or controlled by the department of transportation (DOT) conveyance authorization; trunk highway system highways removal and modification authorization; Koochiching county state owned lands conveyance authorization.



Senator Newman moved that S.F. 1059, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1525: Senator Jasinski: Making changes to the project selection process for the corridors of commerce program.
