Senator Charles W. Wiger called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m. The meeting recessed at 11:02 a.m., and reconvened at 6:02 p.m.

S.F. 1276: Senator Pappas: Youth development educational partnership fund and appropriation.



Senator Dahle moved that S.F. 1276, be recommended to pass as amended and referred to Finance Committee.

S.F. 1495: Senator Wiger: Education policy bill.


S.F. 1210: Senator Hoffman: Public postsecondary faculty member experienced in teaching subjects for which secondary and postsecondary credits are available licensure authorization.


S.F. 559: Senator Clausen: Alternative teacher licensure provisions modifications.


S.F. 664: Senator Torres Ray: Teacher preparation program efficacy data reporting and appropriation.


S.F. 106: Senator Bonoff: High school students world language course enrollment.


S.F. 1001: Senator Hoffman: Student discipline provisions modifications.


S.F. 979: Senator Kiffmeyer: Student surveys and similar instruments prior written consent and notice requirements.


S.F. 961: Senator Jensen: Agricultural educator grant program establishment and appropriation.


S.F. 960: Senator Weber: Independent school districts #2904, Tracy, #2689, Pipestone and #330, Heron Lake-Okabena; school start before Labor Day.



Senator Weber moved that S.F. 960, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 720: Senator Dahms: Independent school district #2853, Lac Qui Parle Valley; school start before Labor Day.



Senator Dahms moved that S.F. 720, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 974: Senator Dahms: Independent school districts #640, Wabasso, #635, Milroy, #378, Dawson- Boyd and #891, Canby; school start before Labor Day.



Senator Dahms moved that S.F. 974, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
