Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m. S.F. 597-Marty: Education system service-learning integration establishment; evidence-based service-learning grant program establishment; task force creation and appropriation. Senator Hall moved A-1 author’s amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Testifiers: o Paula Beugen, Volunteer Resources Management, Professional and Community Volunteer, Former Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education Member and Former National Youth Leadership Council Board Member o Jim Kielsmeier, National Youth Leadership Council Founder Senator Petersen moved that SF 597 be recommended to pass as amended and sent to the Committee on Finance (Education).
