Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. S.F. 766-Hoffman, J.: Spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury research grant program, small business grant and loan program, and spinal cord and traumatic brain injury advisory council establishment; office of higher education grants. TESTIFIERS: o David Godfrey , Director of Advocacy and Public Policy, Hennepin County Medical Center Senator Eaton moved the A5 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Eaton moved that SF 766 be recommended to pass as amended and sent to the Committee on Finance. MOTION PREVAILED. Confirmation of MN.IT Commissioner Thomas Baden. Senator Eaton moved that the Committee on State & Local Government recommend that the Senate confirm the appointment of Mr. Thomas Baden as the Commissioner of MN.IT. MOTION PREVAILED. Confirmation of Department of Administration Commissioner Matt Massman. Senator Scalze moved that the Committee on State & Local Government recommend that the Senate confirm the appointment of Department of Administration Commissioner Matt Massman. MOTION PREVAILED. S.F. 694-Hawj: St. Paul port authority provisions modifications. Senator Pappas moved S.F. 694 to be recommended to pass and be sent to the floor. MOTION PREVAILED.

Senator Eaton moved that S.F. 766, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
