Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m. SF 5- Bonoff: Workforce development; employees dual training competency grants program development and appropriation Senator Pappas moved the A10 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Pappas moved that SF 5 be recommended to pass as amended and re-refer to the Committee on Finance. MOTION PREVAILED. SF247- Nelson: Alzheimer’s and other dementias research grants and programs; Alzheimer’s research and advisory council establishment; appropriating money Senator Hall moved A 4 Amendment. Senator Pappas moved an oral amendment to the A4 amendment to insert \'500,000\' in the blank space found on page 7 line 19. Inserting \'1\' in the blank space found on page 7 line 22. Inserting \'250,000\' in the blank space found on page 7 line 25. MOTION PREVAILED. Testifiers: Jan Mueller, VP for Gov’t Affairs, Alzheimer’s Assoc. SF 421 – Wiklund: Garbage collection home rule charter cities assessment clarification Senator Wiklund moved the amendment A-1. MOTION PREVAILED. Testifiers: Karl Keel, Public Works Director for the City of Bloomington Craig Johnson, League of Minnesota Cities Senator Wiklund moved that SF 421 be recommended to pass as amended and sent to the floor. MOTION PREVAILED.
