Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 12:10 p.m. SF 2692 (Cohen) - Early learning scholarships appropriation availability expansion and appropriations. Senator Nelson moves an oral amendment to strike the language on page 1 line 23 after the period and the following line 24 on page 1. The motion did not prevail. Senator Nelson calls a division. With a division of 6 ayes and 9 nayes, the amendment does not prevail. Senator Torres Ray moves an oral amendment on page 3, line 6, insert "culturally relevant" after "comprehensive".
