Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 12:15 SF 1889 (Torres Ray) - Department of Education Education Policy & Technical Bill. Overview of the Department’s Delete-All Amendment. Testifier: Daron Korte, Dir., Govt. Relations, Minnesota Department of Education At 12:20 Senator Torres Ray announces that quorum is present. Senator Torres Ray moved to adopt the A 14 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED. Members discussed SF 1889. The following members of the public provided testimony: 1. Elaine Keefe, Minnesota Libraries Association, Association of Children with Disabilities. 2. Jim Bartholomew, Minnesota Business Partnership 3. Kathy Saltzman, Students First 4.
