Senator Thomas M. Bakk called the meeting to order at 4:34 pm. Senator Bakk declared that a quorum was present.

S.F. 552: Senator Skoe: Tax law modernization and reform; property tax rebate; state business property, sales, and corporate franchise tax rate reductions; fourth tier income tax imposition; sales tax base expansion; tax simplification; local government aid and county progr.



Senator Skoe moved that S.F. 552, be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 453: Senator Wiger: Pre-kindergarten through grade 12 education provisions modifications and appropriations.



Senator Pappas moved that S.F. 453, be re-referred to the Committee on Finance. - MOTION PREVAILED.
