Senator Xiong moved that S.F. 856, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 449: Senator Cwodzinski: Public television grants appropriation.

Senator Xiong moved that S.F. 449, be laid over. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 263: Senator Rasmusson: Legislative auditor requirement to submit a report to the legislature related to an agency's implementation of internal control or fiscal management recommendations.

Senator Drazkowski moved the A2 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted. Testifiers: Judy Randall - Legislative Auditor, Office of the Legislative Auditor RaeAnna Lee - Legislative and Coalitions Director, Americans for Prosperity

Senator Xiong moved that S.F. 263, as amended, be laid over. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 475: Senator Mathews: Whistleblower protections for public employees modifications.

Senator Maye Quade moved an oral amendment, as below: delete everything after "means" on page 1, line 8, and insert "the misuse of authority or position for personal gain or to cause harm to others, including the improper use of state resources or programs contrary to their intended purpose." Then delete page 1, line 9. Page 1, line 10, delete everything before the period. Senator Maye Quade withdrew the oral amendment.

Senator Xiong moved that S.F. 475, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
