Senator Ann H. Rest called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m.

Adoption of the minutes from 2/4/25

The minutes from February 4, 2025, were approved as presented.

S.F. 4: Senator Rarick: Subtraction expansion for military retirement pay.

Senator Dibble moved the A-1 amendment, the motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. Testifier: Corey Holm - Citizen, Askov, MN

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 4, as amended, be laid over.

S.F. 501: Senator Dornink: Minnesota education credit eligible expenses expansion provision.

Testifier: Emily Saed – MN STEM Ecosystem Director, Southeast Service Cooperative

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 501, be laid over.

S.F. 668: Senator Kupec: Subtraction modification for National Guard and reserve compensation.

Testifier: Justin Abel, North Dakota National Guard Member

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 668, be laid over.

S.F. 749: Senator Coleman: Exemption provision for all school supplies.

S.F. 519: Senator Hauschild: Credit proposal for graduates of aerospace and aviation-related educational programs and employers of program graduates.

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 519, be laid over.

Senator Rest moved that S.F. 783, as amended, be laid over.
