Senator John A. Hoffman called the meeting to order at 3:04pm.

Call To Order


S.F. 4460: Senator Mann: Civil commitment priority admission requirements modification; prisoner in a correctional facility is not responsible for co-payments for mental health medications specification; reimbursement of county co-payment expenses authorization; appropriating money.

Senator Mann moved that the A4 amendment be adopted. MOTION ADOPTED. The following individuals testified on S.F.4460: 1. Ian Heath, doctor, Hennepin Healthcare 2. Bryan Welk, Sheriff, Cass County 3. Elliot Butay, NAMI Minnesota 4. Terryl Clark, Commissioner, Stearn County

Senator Mann moved that S.F. 4460, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 5282: Senator Abeler: Mental Health innovation programs eligible recipients and funding modifications, County responsibility for the cost of care for a client awaiting transfer to another state-operated facility or program or facility operated by the Department of Corrections removal, and appropriations.

Senator Abeler moved that the A1 amendment be adopted. MOTION ADOPTED The following individuals testified on S.F.5282: 1. Angela Youngerberg, Human Services Director of Business Operations, Blue Earth County 2. Terryl Clark, Commissioner, Stearn County

Senator Abeler moved that S.F. 5282, as amended, laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 5249: Senator Rasmusson: Otter Tail county engagement services pilot project establishment and appropriation.

The following individuals testified on S.F.5249: 1. Deb Sjostrom, Director, Otter Tail Human Services 2. Elliot Butay, NAMI Minnesota

Senator Rasmusson moved that S.F. 5249, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 5264: Senator Weber: Emergency relief grants establishment for financially distressed early intensive developmental and behavioral intervention providers.

Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 5264, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 5335: Senator Hoffman: Human services provisions modifications, technical changes, human services contingency fund establishment, and appropriations.
