Senator Jim Abeler called the meeting to order at 1:17pm.

Senator Abeler moved the A-1 amendment before the committee.

Senator Abeler moved the A-18 amendment before the committee.

Senator Hoffman moved the A-20 amendment before the committee.

Senator Hoffman moved that the A-20 amendment be adopted to SF4410.

The motion prevailed on a voice vote and the A-20 amendment was adopted to SF4410.

 

Senator Abeler moved the A-18 back before the committee.

Senator Abeler offered the following oral amendment: Page 1, line 15, after “two” insert:

“. No program shall receive less in funding than they are projected to receive based on Table 4 in the Technical Assistance for Defining FTE for Child Care Stabilization Base Grants document dated March 29, 2022.”


The motion prevailed on a voice vote and the oral amendment to the A-18 amendment was adopted.

Senator Abeler moved that the A-18 amendment be adopted to SF4410.

The motion prevailed on a voice vote and the A-18 amendment was adopted to SF4410.

 

Senator Hoffman moved that the A-21 amendment be adopted to SF4410.

The motion prevailed on a voice vote and the A-21 amendment was adopted to SF4410.

 

Senator Fateh moved the A-22 amendment before the committee.

Senator Abeler moved that S.F. 4410, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee.

Senator Abeler moved the bill, SF4409, before the committee.

Senator Abeler moved that the A-1 amendment be adopted to SF4409.

The motion prevailed and the A-1 amendment was adopted on a voice vote. 


Senator Abeler moved that S.F. 4409, as amended, be recommended to pass.
