Senator Gary H. Dahms called the meeting to order at 1:11 p.m. A quorum was present.

S.F. 831: Senator Benson: Prescription drug manufacturer importation pathway plan application and incentives.

Senator Dahms moved S.F. 831 before the committee. Senator Benson presented S.F. 831. Discussion.


Senator Dahms moved that S.F. 831, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1497: Senator Dahms: Financial services inclusion program appropriation.

Chairman Dahms passed the gavel to Vice-Chair Utke. Senator Dahms moved S.F. 1497 before the committee. Senator Dahms presented S.F. 1497. Ann LeLand Clark, Prepare & Prosper, testified in favor of S.F. 1497. Discussion.


Senator Dahms moved that S.F. 1497, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1496: Senator Draheim: Patient assistance program funds application to a health plan deductible disclosure requirement.

Senator Draheim presented S.F. 1496. Senator Utke moved to amend S.F. 1496 as follows, "line 1.10 delete '1' and insert '2'."  Motion carried. Discussion.


Senator Utke moved that S.F. 1496, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 917: Senator Draheim: Pharmacy benefit manager business practices modification and general reimbursement practices establishment; maximum allowable cost pricing requirements modification.

Senator Utke moved S.F. 917 before the committee. Chris Stang, Senate Counsel, explained the A-7 amendment. Senator Utke moved the A-7 amendment. Motion carried. Senator Draheim presented S.F. 917 as amended.
