Senator Roger C. Chamberlain called the meeting to order at 3:03

S.F. 446: Senator Abeler: Teachers of color and American Indian teachers increase; equitable school enhancement grants; curriculum policy; COME teach in Minnesota hiring bonuses; grow your own programs grants; teacher mentorship and retention modifications; graduation ceremonies; appropriations.

S.F. 781: Senator Coleman: Teacher licensing, hiring, and dismissal provisions modifications.

Senator Coleman presented the A-2 amendment and it passed on a voice vote. Senator Coleman then presented SF 781, as amended.

Senator Isaacson offered an oral amendment and asked for a roll call vote. Oral amendment: "delete 2.31 and 2.32. The amendment failed on a 5-4 oral roll call.

S.F. 784: Senator Chamberlain: School district establishment of teacher mentoring programs requirement; staff development revenue allowed uses modification.

Senator Chamberlain passed the gavel to Senator Eichorn and moved the A-1 amendment to SF 784. Amendment was adopted on a voice vote. He presented SF 784 as amended.
