Senator Gary H. Dahms called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. A quorum was present.

S.F. 753: Senator Abeler: Health care providers timely credentialing requirements.

Senator Utke moved S.F. 753 before the committee. Senator Abeler presented S.F. 753. Brenda Reinhardt, Business Office Manager VitreoRetinal Surgery, Minnesota Medical Group Managers Association - Payer Relations Chair testified in favor of the bill. Discussion.


Senator Utke moved that S.F. 753, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 837: Senator Koran: Life insurers consideration of opiate antagonist prescription use of prohibition.

Senator Howe moved S.F. 837 before the committee. Senator Howe moved the A-1 delete all amendment. Motion carried. Senator Koran presented S.F. 837 as amended. Robyn Rowen, Minnesota Insurance and Financial Services Council (MIFSC), testified in favoer of S.F. 837 as amended. Discussion.


Senator Howe moved that S.F. 837, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.
