Senator Ron Latz called for the committee to resume from recess at 6:34 pm.

S.F. 388: Senator Carlson: Building and construction contracts, professional services contracts, and indemnification agreements regulations. (Moved from Judiciary agenda on 3/19 as we ran out of time).



Senator Latz moved that S.F. 388, be laid on the table.

S.F. 1423: Senator Jensen: Domestic abuse order for protection violation and no contact order prosecution venue clarification.



Senator Dziedzic moved that S.F. 1423, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 712: Senator Thompson: Prosecuting attorney death or assault penalties modification.



Senator Ortman moved that S.F. 712, be laid on the table. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 661: Senator Rest: Campaign finance and public disclosure provisions modifications.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 661, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1082: Senator Rest: Constitutional amendment for retention elections for judges; judicial retention elections establishment and statutory provisions modifications; judicial performance evaluation commission creation. Discussion will be limted to 30 minutes at the request of the chair.



Senator Cohen moved that S.F. 1082, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Rules and Administration Committee.

S.F. 693: Senator Dziedzic: Survival or continuation of a civil action after the death or disability of a party authorization.



Senator Cohen moved that S.F. 693, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 745: Senator Dziedzic: Electronic data services under contract with libraries private data classification. (There will be a delete-all amendment. This bill will be the Data Practices Omnibus bill).
