1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Ian Froslee of Vining, Minnesota, for earning the rank of
1.3Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Ian Froslee, a senior at Henning High School, is a member of the Boy Scouts
1.9of America, has been involved in numerous volunteer activities, and has displayed the attributes
1.10of a responsible and serving member; and
1.11WHEREAS, Ian Froslee has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed
1.12a community service project, which involved coordinating, planning, and installing an outdoor
1.13Stations of the Cross prayer garden for St. Edward Catholic Church in Henning, and fulfilled all
1.14other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 20, 2019, at 2 p.m. in Henning;
1.16and
1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.18congratulates Ian Froslee of Vining, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ian Froslee.
