1.1A Senate resolution

         		1.2recognizing Trumm Drug of Alexandria, Minnesota.

         		1.3WHEREAS, Trumm Drug is a growing, caring, and successful professional pharmacy with 

         		1.4roots in the Alexandria community since 1951; and 

         		1.5WHEREAS, a history of growth and organizational development by the leadership of 

         		1.6Trumm Drug, including growth in products and services, facilities, and number of team members, 

         		1.7has resulted in the adoption and expansion of new technologies and services that benefit the 

         		1.8citizens of Alexandria and the surrounding area and make the community more attractive; and 

         		1.9WHEREAS, the employment of approximately 90 individuals, with the payment of a 

         		1.10living wage, creates a ripple effect of economic activity in terms of wages paid, support industries 

         		1.11utilized, and employee purchasing power throughout the community, and plays a key role in the 

         		1.12attractiveness and success of west central Minnesota; and 

         		1.13WHEREAS, the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission and the Alexandria 

         		1.14Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce recognize Trumm Drug for its significant investment and 

         		1.15involvement in the Alexandria area in the creation of jobs, wages, and wealth, and in support of 

         		1.16organizations and initiatives throughout west central Minnesota and the state of Minnesota; and 

         		1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it 

         		1.18recognizes and congratulates Trumm Drug for its contributions to the people of the Alexandria 

         		1.19area, the west central region, and to the state of Minnesota

         		1.20BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare 

         		1.21an enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's  signature and that of 

         		1.22the Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to the leadership 

         		1.23of Trumm Drug of Alexandria, Minnesota.
