1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Liam Arroyo of Rochester, Minnesota, for earning the rank
1.3of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in Scouting America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Liam Arroyo is a member of Scouting America and has displayed the attributes
1.8of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, Liam has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.10community service project, which involved supporting Family Promise in Rochester, an organization
1.11focused on preventing and ending family homelessness through shelter, eviction prevention,
and
1.12stabilization, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout;
and
1.13WHEREAS, Liam plans on attending Hamline University this fall to study political science
1.14and pre-law; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Liam Arroyo of Rochester, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that
of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Liam Arroyo.
