1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Joseph Anton Yapp of Woodbury, Minnesota, for earning
1.3the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in Scouting America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Joseph Anton Yapp is a member of Scouting America Troop 9005 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, Joseph has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.10community service project, an autism awareness website that drew national recognition, and fulfilled
1.11all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. His achievement is a testament
1.12to his character, perseverance, and desire to make a positive difference; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on September 28, 2025, at Shepherd of the
1.14Valley Lutheran Church in Afton, Minnesota; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Joseph Anton Yapp of Woodbury, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.18copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.19Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Joseph Anton Yapp.
