Author: Senator Karin Housley

Prepared By: Senate Counsel, Research and Fiscal Analysis (651/296-4791)

Chapter 75 allows restaurants that hold on-sale liquor licenses to make off-sales of beer, hard seltzer, cider, and wine in limited quantities with a prepared food take-out order. A municipality can elect to opt-out. No delivery of alcohol is authorized by this section. The authority ends when the closure of restaurants under executive order ends.
