SF 2676 modifies application deadlines for homestead determination and the disabled veterans homestead exclusion.

Section 1. Homestead established after assessment date. Extends, from December 1^st to December 31^st, the deadline to apply for homestead treatment for property not used as a homestead on the assessment date (January 2^nd).

Section 2. Homestead application.  Extends, from December 15^th to December 31^st, the date by which all homestead applications must be submitted. 

Section 3. Homestead of disabled veteran or family caregiver. Extends, from December 15^th to December 31^st, the application due date for the disabled veterans homestead exclusion.

Effective Date.  All sections are effective beginning with assessment year 2020.
