Section 1. Appropriations. Appropriates $80,000 in fiscal years 2020 and 2021 from the general fund for a grant to the United Way of Central Minnesota for the Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota. Provides that grant funding may be used for staff costs, pupil transportation costs, and outreach activities. Requires an annual report, with the first report due on February 15, 2020. Stipulates that the grant is in addition to any other funds appropriated for the Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota.

Effective Date. Makes the section effective the day following final enactment.
