Section 1. Solar generation on closed landfill properties; study. Requires the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) to conduct a study on the feasibility of locating solar photovoltaic devices on land that is in enrolled in the Pollution Control Agency’s closed landfill program, including a description of the regulatory process and a cost-benefit analysis. Requires the EQB to submit the study to the legislature by an unspecified date.
Section 2. Appropriation. Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund for the study under section 1.
