S.F. No. 1651 - Modifying Political Subdivision Compensation (as amended by the proposed A-1 Delete-Everything Amendment)

Author: Senator Dan Hall

Prepared By: Joan White, Senate Counsel (651/296-3814)

Date: March 25, 2019

The original bill language in S.F. No. 1651 repeals the provision that limits the compensation of a person employed by a political subdivision to 110 percent of the salary of the Governor.  The A-1 delete-all amendment does not repeal the provision, but instead amends it by capping the compensation of a person employed by a political subdivision of the state at $200,000.
